Following on from yesterday's photo of Dillon Street in New Tipperary, here's the Arcade near the same location. Couldn't decide between the two images we have digitised, and as it gives us an end to end view of the Arcade, I decided to upload both...

Date: Circa 1890 (definitely before 11 August 1892)

Among the Smith-Barry tenants evicted from James Street on Tuesday 17th December 1889 (according to Freeman's the following day)

Patrick Cleary, draper Michael Kennedy, provision store James Davis, stationer Danl(sic) Ryan, victualler Jas Murray, boot manufacturer Michael Cross, draper Widow Bennett, harness maker
We know that Michael Cross and Patrick Cleary ended up in New Tipperary. I wonder about the others.

There's a Boot man in the arcade, nearest shop on the right hand side of the other shot, I can't read the poster in the window, though. Royal Boots? Boland Boots?
