130206-N-TP834-073 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 6, 2013) – Naval Reserve Officer Lt. Carol Gibbins, a patient at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), uses a wood turning lathe to create a basting brush during a workshop. Armed Services YMCA and San Diego Wood Turners came together back in 2010 to start a program called “Turn Around for Vets.” The program runs every Wednesday and is open to staff, patients and beneficiaries.
