Thought it'd be interesting to have a look at a typical "Main Street" photo not as a Then and Now shot but as Then and Then by Lawrence and Poole Photographic Studios! Unsure of the dates for these two Wexford photos, but they must have been around a similar date by the looks of the businesses obvious in each photo?

Philip Cowman Census he is single and living with 4 others (assistants in the shop and a commercial traveller) in house 12 in Selskar Street, which is just down the road from where the picture was taken. I wonder if any of these men are standing outside of Cowmans shop?
