Long before Dublin Bus was even a twinkle in anyone's eye, this job advertisement was posted up at Mullingar Train Station, Co. Westmeath seeking men(!) to work on the buses in Dublin.

Thanks to A. P. Luckwill for identifying the bus in the advert as a "Leyland Atlantean PDR1/A1 chassis bus with Inchicore built CIE MetSec body, new early 1970's and in service until mid 1990's."

Date: Saturday, 15 May 1971

The 46A actually featured in a number of songs - let's see who can name any of them!
