Photograph shows Florence Conklin Carman, wife of Dr. Edwin Carman (d. 1939) of Freeport, Long Island. She was accused of murdering Lulu Bailey in her husband's office in June 1914. Mrs. Carman was later acquitted. (Source: Flickr Commons project, 2011)
