While this was the Uganda Railway it actually traversed the land that became Kenya and should really be under the Kenya collection. This refers to the rest of the photos in the Uganda series. The railway commenced at Mombasa (and therefore had nothing to do with the Island of Zanzibar although the Sultan of Zanzibar ruled the East African coast strip including Mombasa) to Port Florence which became Kisumu.
