Description: Letter from Conservative Prime Minister Edward Heath's Private Secretary Robert Armstrong to the Department of Education, then headed by Margaret Thatcher.
Thatcher and Heath never got on and it is notable that this communication (in which Armstrong refers to the 1968 Paris Riots) is between their respective civil servants and not in any way personal.
The file also contains an example of left wing material intended for London schools.

Fascinating! Maybe she advised them to create videogames and high calorie snacks. Those seem to be pacifying the children pretty well these days.

Interesting how things reoccur in light of the recent school child and student riots across the country....

So interesting. Shows that you're never too small, too young, or too powerless to put the wind up those in power.
