There is a wonderful symmetry to the castle and it's wings in this, the Lyons Estate in County Kildare. Unlike some recent buildings we have posted where there had been a series of extensions and additions that looked like a childs lego set. I had never heard of the Lyons estate but I am sure that it is a place where they served a nice cup of tea?
Wikipedia has detailed files. Not sure who owned it at this precise date, though:
Frederick Lawless, a brother of the writer, naturalist, and historian Emily Lawless, with whom she was very close, was the last heir to the estate, after their elder brother Valentine died without a male heir in 1928. But his occupancy was short-lived, as Frederick himself died on 18 July 1928, and the title was extinguished.
University College, Dublin (UCD), purchased the Lyons Estate in 1963, the purchase consisting of Lyons House and approximately 1,200 acres (490 ha). In the early 1990s, the university sold the house and half of the land, approximately 620 acres. It was purchased by Ryanair businessman Tony Ryan in 1996.

UCD have more details:on his death the Barony and Baronetcy of Cloncurry became extinct and Lyons Estate passed to Valentine’s youngest daughter, Kathleen Emily Marie Lawless (1888-1957). Kathleen bequeathed the remaining property to a cousin, G. M. V. Winn.
UCD Purchase Lyons Estate
University College, Dublin (UCD), purchased Lyons Estate in 1962 from the Winn family, the purchase consisted of Lyons House and approximately 1,200 acres (490 ha).
From wiki - "... Treasures which were successfully imported include three columns from the ruins of the Golden House of Nero in Rome, used in the portico, and a statue of Venus excavated at Ostia. ...". Wondering which column is the 'fake'?
The square house/wing on the right has a flat roof (with a puddle on it) which upsets the fearful symmetry.
Edit - that hipped roof has been restored since the photo.
Looking at the OSI site, the two circular features to the North visible in Constants aerial shot were added between 95 and 99. The road was diverted into a curve North before 2004. This would have been after Tony Ryan bought it.

even the garden designs are mirrors of each other .... one wonders if the inhabitants became confused as to which side they were in!

Looks much the same in Google maps aerial view

Flickr is sometimes high and nearby! In 2013 via [https://www.flickr.com/photos/costi-londra/] [https://www.flickr.com/photos/costi-londra/8484145786/] I think the 2,000 year-old statue of Venus from Ostia is that big pillar half way down the back garden, see in Monkey's reverse-ish view - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000731277/HierarchyTree?recor... Venus appears to have moved. Where has she gone?

You can see the behind of the pillar statue in L_CAB_09218 from French/Lawrence.
