Description: Exterior photograph of St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh.
It was here in 445 A.D. that Ireland's patron saint founded a church and it has been a centre of Christian worship for over fifteen hundred years. This view, taken from a house in Vicar's Hill, shows Archbishop Lord John George Beresford's nineteenth century restoration of Archbishop O'Scannails's church of 1268.
