The lady is standing in front of a house that may be Lenaboy House or so the cataloguer speculates but my untrained eye sees an institutional building and unlikely to be in Ireland? Our esteemed contributor, Rory Sherlock, accepted an invitation to make suggestions and this is one of his choices. This will be an interesting start to what we hope will be an interesting week?

There's bits of both Oxford and Cambridge universities in similar styles, but I haven't found a match yet.

Jesus College Oxford, particularly, is quite like it.

Next door in the catalogue is CLON725, looks helpful. Not Hereford as suggested in the catalogue, though.

Magdalen College, Oxford, I think. The greenhouses are in the botanic gardens. 725, I mean. so this one is probably Oxford, since I only looked there because of the Lemur's suggestion for today's 726.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnmcauley 726 to Oxford sounds like a train!!

https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnmcauley Ref 725. Too many turrets and not enough windows to be Hereford.
derangedlemur
https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnmcauley You're right with Oxford botanic gardens - there's a more or less matching photo on google maps.
O Mac
Radcliffe Quadrangle, Oxford. Streetview doesn't oblige so here's a screen grab from University website. flic.kr/p/2mpCP6q

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected] I don't know what you grabbed there, but I got a mature content warning.

You're correct, though. Here it is: www.accessguide.ox.ac.uk/sites/default/files/accessguide/...

So, this is Radcliffe Quad in University College, Oxford. Not to be confused with Radcliffe Square, Oxford.

I was sure there was a hotel called The Radcliffe - either a famous one, or one in Dublin - but google disagrees. Did I imagine it?

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected] Now that I'm not going through the work network, I've clicked through to your picture. I can only guess that flickr thinks that's a row of boobs along the top.
sharon.corbet
https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected] I have a vague feeling that I'm familiar with a hotel with a name that is similar to Radcliffe, and that it's a luxury or well-known hotel of some kind. However, the more I try and focus in on it, the vaguer it seems to become. (From experience, whatever I'm thinking of will come to me at 3 am some night, and will either be fictional, or very far away from Radcliffe.)

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected] Very good O Mac - I looked through many Oxford quads on Streetview but couldn't find it!

So which Dillon lady is this? Striking similarity in composition with this photo ("c. 1900") in fairly nearby Broadway - https://www.flickr.com/photos/nlireland/49011806491/ I expect https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ has it all worked out!

https://www.flickr.com/photos/nlireland Sorry Mary, but I wasn't at my desk today - by a strange coincidence I was working at Clonbrock!
