Speaking to Brooke Johnson (granddaughter of Wallace Johnston), the photo is the Johnston cottage, north of the bridge at Brown's at the head of the Mazinaw (Brown's barn and bridge in the background). Wallace Johnston was Manager of Sawyer Stoll Massanoga. Far right: Wallace Johnston, left of Wallace is wife Helen Johnston, left of Helen is youngest daughter Mary, then Judy (behind the tree). Unknown lady with baby.

Mary Johnston Johnson married Brad Johnson, who came up from Kingston with his dad (Johnson's Nurseries) to the Mazinaw cottage that Wallace built pictured here. Brad and his dad (from the Nursery) planted shrubs and flowers around the cottage. The photo shows the readied ground for the planting and the fateful meeting between Brad and Mary was at that time! The rest is history.
