Tenney sitting in a chair in the living room of his house reading an issue of the local Jacksonville The Daily News newspaper, on October 3, 1945, during World War II. The Tenney house was located in the Midway Park neighborhood in Jacksonville, NC. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, at the time. Caption reads: “Just Relaxing” (October 3, 1945).
