In a very strange week for us, this view of the Eternal City is a certainty. We started with poor Morning Mary starting off on a Camino from the wrong place, a portrait that was part of a large group, and finally a Secret Military Order that was a forgery. The ever reliable Stereo Pairs collection should bring us back down to earth with this wonderful pair of images from the cupola of St. Peter's. We know the where, but what else can we find out about this?

Photographers: Frederick Holland Mares, James Simonton
