This bank building in Ballyshannon reminds me more of the famous "Hatters Castle" in AJ Cronin's novel of the same name than any other bank I have ever seen. Somebody seems to have taken spare pieces from all over the island and stuck them together to make this confection. Is it still standing and if so what does it look like now?
