Description: Women's Auxiliary Transport Service (W.A.T.S.) tearoom for service personnel, at the top of George Street, was a homely meeting place for all personnel based in Brisbane. Tables have tablecloths and vases of flowers on each table and shelves around the walls contain various ornaments. The Union Jack flag and the Australian flag decorate two walls. All the hanging lights have shades and curtains hang at the windows. A pianola stands on the side wall which has rolls of music sitting on top waiting to be played.
