Description: Horace and Jessie Lonergan owned the hotel. The kangaroo was hand reared and was put down when his forearm was almost severed after he got it entangled in the wire at the bottom of the fence. The kangaroo was particularly aggressive. The kangaroo is over 6 feet in height. (Description supplied with photograph.)
