Apparently the passengers on this Taronga Park bound train had a miraculous escape when another tram crashed into it on Saturday 8 September 1939.
The accident occurred at the bottom of the hill near Milsons point when the Chatswood tram telescoped the rear drivers cabin into the passenger car. More the 20 people were injured but none seriously.
