On Australia Day 1944 Pix photographer Alec Ives visited the war workers holiday camp at Narrabeen, Sydney. Here he captured workers relaxing while having their haircut. From the left, they are Mr I Brown (miner), Mrs E Burnett (munitions worker), Miss I Bowen (poultry farmer), Miss M Delaney (munition, Mrs Brown (munitions) and D. Burnett (munitions).
