This photograph from the first tennis handicap tournament held in Upper Arlington accompanied an article about tennis tactics. The tournament was hosted by the newly established Upper Arlington Tennis Club on Labor Day in 1918 at the Miller Park tennis courts. Jack Hollar was the champion, and he had the honor of being the first to have his name inscribed on the silver trophy cup which was donated by the Upper Arlington Company. Fourteen-year-old Frank Fenton was the runner-up.
