Description: Clive Bernard Churchill AM (21 January 1927 – 9 August 1985) Clive Churchill represented Australia, New South Wales and Queensland as a Rugby League fullback. After playing most of his football in New South Wales, Churchill came to Brisbane in 1959, playing for Norths in the Brisbane Rugby League and was captain-coach of Queensland in the same year. The Clive Churchill Medal is presented to the man of the match in the NRL grand final.
