DESCRIPTION
Photograph of the Cheshire Railroad Station in Keene New Hampshire. "On account of the expense involved in filling low land on both sides of Main Street, the Cheshire Railroad was about to build its depot near Marlboro Street when a number of citizens bought the Dorr lot and gave it to the railroad on condition that its depot be erected upon it." It was built in 1847-8 and torn down in 1910.
