"Burrell 8-nominal horespower single crank compound traction engine bought new about August 1901 by the Wyong sawmillers O'Neil and Goldsmith, from Burrells' Australian agent, at the time, of J. & C. Howard of 280 Pitt St., Sydney. The engine number remains a mystery at the moment.
In the photo, on the left hand side is a large square piece of timber, writen on the end can be decifered "O'N & G"
The location of the photo is Wyong railway station, before duplication of the railway line in 1912."
