Good morning and a happy Monday to you all! I have a sense of deja vu all over again on this shot - though the one I am imagining is a Lawrence photo rather than this magnificent Stereo Pairs image. The scene is truly beautiful, and the two young ladies on the ass cart appear to complement it to perfection. The only one that appears down in the mouth is the poor ass. Can we cheer him up by identifying the place?
As well as confirming that we'd met the jaunty bloke with the muttonchops
once or twice before,
BeachcomberAustralia was quick in finding (and
Nydialy in refining) a location. Whether the ass is happy about it or not, it seems pretty certain he's less than a half-mile from
a spot we've visited on this stretch of the Blackwater previously. Seems likely that Mr Muttonchops was a driver or similar assistant attached to the Lawrence studio party....

Great - Thanks https://www.flickr.com/photos/nydialy and https://www.flickr.com/photos/beachcomberaustralia. Do we feel comfortable enough to ring the "location identified" klaxon?

For me, there is no doubt that https://www.flickr.com/photos/beachcomberaustralia found the right place. Location identified!

But who is the ubiquitous Mr Muttonchops?

I guess we may never get confirmation of a name https://www.flickr.com/photos/beachcomberaustralia, but I'm more than happy with "Mr Muttonchops" for now :) ("Muttonchops", without the honourific, seems a bit informal - at least until we get to know him better). In the meantime, I've updated the map, and duly rung the 'location identified' klaxon. Thanks to you and https://www.flickr.com/photos/nydialy!
