These tiny tots and their proud mums pose outside the entrance to the Baptist Chapel on Lord Roberts Road around 1911, presumably as part of a ‘Mother & Baby’ competition. The Chapel itself later became home to the East Riding Archives, amongst other Council services, and is now the venue for the new East Riding Theatre.
