Here’s Toll Gavel in the middle of being pedestrianised in 1983. Also in shot we can see two blasts from the shopping past – the old ‘Grandways’/’Jackson’s’ frontage, and ‘Woolworths’ before they began adding an ‘S’ to the end of their shop signs.
