    Wow! The old black & white photos that we mostly see of this era don't convey the beauty of people in that time. She's a beauty. I wish women today took care to dress up like this before they go into work.

    Unusual wooden pin with red lips, might be african or carribean? It just reflects the red on her lips as well and against the red vest looks great.

    Our GREATEST generation in full color! My grandparents passed a couple of years back and I found a few pictures of my grandfather in his 1st Cavalry Division US Army Uniform and my grandmother kept to the day near her pillow from WWII. These pictures are a treasure!! Thank you so much for sharing them.
