Trefaldighetskyrkan (Holy Trinity church) with bell tower at the Main Square in Karlskrona. The Baroque church, founded in 1697 and inaugurated in 1709, was created by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger and recreated by architect Olof Tempelman after the city fire in 1790. The church is also called the German church since it originally was the church of the German congregation in Karlskrona.

Rosarium: We don't know with what type of camera the photo is taken. It might be taken with a pinhole camera, it might not, sorry we can't say for sure. /Anna B.

[[email protected]] Thanks for observing! The source I used was obivously not so good, and now I have improved the description here on The Commons thanks to you. Different sources I have checked today claim the same years for the founding and the inauguration, but different alternatives for the construction period. Actually parts of the construction seem to have continued several years after the inauguration in 1709. /Anna B.
