A view looking north along Main Street in Camden, Maine.
In the left foreground is the B.F. Adams block, built in 1893. It is a Second Empire building with a tall Mansard roof. The Masonic building can be seen farther down the block.
On the right side of the street a barber pole can be seen.
In the far background, the Civil War Memorial can be seen at the intersection of Mountain Street and High Street. The statue was later moved to Harbor Park.
Wagons, horses, pedestrians, and a small dog populate the street.
This postcard is undated, but it has an undivided back, identifying it as pre-1907.
