The STS-130 mission’s purpose was to install the two final components of the United States segment of the International Space Station. STS-130 delivered and installed the new Tranquility node and copula, which now gives astronauts a seven window, breathtaking view. The crew members took time to receive a phone call from President Obama, accompanied by a dozen middle school students, near the end of the mission.
