In this photograph, Chief of White House Police, Major Ralph C. “Smokey” Stover (standing, far left), and White House Police Officer, Inspector Kenneth M. Burke (standing, far right), pose with an unidentified White House Police Officer and three unidentified White House staff members (seated) during a performance of the Transylvania Symphony Orchestra from the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina on the South Lawn of the White House, Washington, D.C. The performance for an audience of handicapped children is first in a series of “Musical Programs for Youth by Youth,” organized by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.
