    Another Daylight SP northern undressed for war service. These high stepping streamliners had to shed their streamlining for Uncle Sam's troop trains.

    Ah, you're right. And there seems to be one GS-6 Which is preserved in St Louis Missouri! Since they were built in 1943, with the rationing of steel and materials, the streamlining was minimal.
