Accompanying note: "Dennis Wilson, 520 Murphree St., is just one of dozens of boys who are building Soap Box Derby racers in preparation for the big race in July. Dennis saws away at the foundation of the proposed racer he plans to enter in this summer's race. In the foreground is the racer he used in last year's race. Once a racing car is entered in a Derby it cannot be used again in another Derby. Dennis has loaned his racer out to FSU students for use in campus activities."
